"None of us are home until all of us are home®"
Project Home is a community that is built to empower adults, children, and families to break the cycle of homelessness. Project Home strives to create a safe and respectful environment where we support each other in our struggles for self-esteem, recovery, and the confidence to move toward self-actualization. Help us reach our goal of over $1,000 through volunteer hours and buying gifts made by the residents of Project Home!
We are helping as many families as possible through our partnership with the
Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation.
Our team will be working with the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation, a local Philadelphia organization that aims to “fight breast cancer through community-based education and referral, support, advocacy and direct service.” We will be raising money for this organization through fundraiser events held on campus. We are considering running sporting events with paid registration, such as a volleyball tournament; all proceeds will go to the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation. Our team members plan to leverage our personal networks to generate donations for Linda Creed through social media. We will be creating a Linda Creed ebrochure and sharing it, this will help spread awareness for Linda Creed as it is a smaller organization. We plan to run this ebrochure campaign throughout the month of October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the content of the ebrochure will be centered around sharing the screening services Linda Creed offers and prompting donations.
