Cradles to Crayons
It’s More Than a Cause, It’s a Kid
Childhood poverty is a serious nationwide issue. The average U.S. family in poverty, with two adults and two children, lives on less than $24,000 a year. Our team wants to work toward this cause and therefore we will be working with Cradles to Crayons. It is an organization focused to equips children living in poverty with essentials like clothes, shoes, books, and school supplies. Our goal is to volunteer our time to this amazing organization, collecting supplies, and money. Additionally, we plan to promote the organization on campus and through social media to share the work that Cradles to Crayons engages in.

I am a transfer junior student with my associates degree. I love sports, and I love to talking about it and playing it. I am always busy moving around, it keep me focus on my goals in life. I have 3 sibling 2 brothers and 1 sister, I love to help children whenever I can because I grew up in poverty and it was difficult. I never had an older figure to guide me or help me through troubled times. So if can help and guide our next generation of kids and past down everything I learned in life on how I got past troubled times, then they can see that I am an example of someone who made it out of a tough time in life.
I am an international student from Saudi Arabia. Currently, I am on my senior year majoring in Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management. I have 8 siblings and 5 of them are younger than me. Growing up in a big family made me realize how difficult it is to need something and not be able to have it because I am unable to afford it. I aim to help as many children as possible, so they have what they need.
I am a senior marketing major from Springfield (Delco), PA. On my breaks, I live with my mother, father and one brother. I currently work at my uncle’s deli in Springfield. Every weekday we prepare lunches for underprivileged children in the Horsham area. I think it is important to provide for children that can not provide for themselves.
