Children’s Organ Transplant Association
Helping Raise Money for Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA)
The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. The Children's Organ Transplant Association does not charge for its services. 100% of funds raised in honor of patients are available for transplant-related expenses. COTA funds are available for a patient's lifetime for almost any transplant-related expense. We will be working with the COTA for Team Abby Woodley and her family from Langhorne, PA. Since birth, Abby, 2, has been battling MMA, or methylmalonic acidemia, a disease that prevents the body from breaking down amino and fatty acids. In August 2018, Abby received a liver transplant that could help her continue her fight against the vicious disease. Our team’s goal is to help Abby’s COTA team organize fundraising events to help with transplant-related expenses
