I am starting to figure out that the more research I dig through about PAWS, the more incredible stories I begin to find. For example, just on their website alone, they have 10 full pages of nothing but strictly success stories. These success stories are the kind that warm your heart, detailing how an animal was rescued from the cold streets of Philadelphia, brought to the PAWS non-kill shelter, and eventually adopted to a loving home.
For example, I stumbled upon the case of Jessica Rabbit. Jessica Rabbit is a female Pitbull and was found living on the streets of Frankford in the middle of the winter. An animal control officer found her on a extremely cold night, and brought her to the city shelter. She stayed there for several days until she was rescued by PAWS. She was than adopted by a wonderful couple and now lives with them in the North East. Hopefully, an added benefit of working with this organization will be to know that I got an animal adopted and into one of those loving homes. On a side note, we have set up a gofundme webpage for PAWS. Up until this blog post, we have generated $200 in donations to the page, which is almost half of our original goal of $500.
If you would like to be the next donation and help save an animals life, donate here: https://www.gofundme.com/paws-big-pet-guys-and-girls.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
